Entertainment

This has got to be the most entertaining social studies answer I have ever marked.

This was from a question asking about the significance if Bloody Sunday incident in Northern Ireland. This is word for word from the answer script I read - unedited.

Bloody Sunday was an important event in Northern Ireland. This is because it happened on Sunday and there was a lot of blood. Thats why its called bloody. The catholic strike was led by a man called Father Gayporn. The Catholic men which included youths with Gayporn went to the turkey palace to protest. The army shot them all. Many died and there was a lot of blood on the street. Thats why its called bloody. The protestants didn't like the catholic Gayporn. This is because they were intolerant. They went to different schools and learnt bad things about each other in school. Thus they had divided loyalties. So they were all shot. The protestants thought that the catholic men with Gayporn would influence the government. They were afraid that the catholics would influence their way of life and be intolerant of their beliefs.
